What is a portfolio?

A portfolio is your top-level brand — it has a name, a description, and a subdomain (like yourname.folio.photo). When you sign up, onboarding walks you through creating your first one. You can change the name, description, and subdomain any time from Settings.

Galleries live inside a portfolio. A custom domain attaches to a portfolio, so all galleries in it are served from your domain.

Free accounts get 1 portfolio. Starter gets 3. Lite gets 5. Pro and above get unlimited.

What counts as storage?

Uploaded files — JPEGs, PNGs, TIFFs, RAW files, etc. Thumbnails and previews generated by Folio are not counted.

Can I change plans?

Yes, at any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately. See Billing for details.
